Luncheon series launches to connect businesses, entrepreneurs to drone industry
A monthly luncheon is launching to expand networking opportunities between the rapidly growing drone industry and entrepreneurs, business and industry representatives in the Grand Forks region.
Anyone with an interest in learning more about the unmanned systems industry and related opportunities for business development is encouraged to attend.
The inaugural DroneBIZ luncheon is at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, July 14 at the Grand Forks Region EDC, 120 N. 4th St., with Tom Swoyer, Grand Sky developer, as the guest speaker.
There is no cost to attend the first luncheon. RSVPs are requested to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The luncheons, to be held on the second Thursday of each month, will highlight the technologies, broad applications and business spin-off opportunities surrounding the rise of the unmanned systems industry in region.
“Grand Forks truly is the hub for this industry in North Dakota,” said Brandon Baumbach, business development projects coordinator with the Grand Forks Region EDC. “These luncheons will bring the business and entrepreneurship community together to talk about about new and unique uses, network with each other to develop beneficial partnerships, and identify new opportunities to capitalize on the industry’s growth in the region.”
